Hebden Bridge Town Hall Summer Celebrations!

This Summer we will be celebrating not one, but two birthdays! Let us explain….

This Summer is going to be a bumper year for Hebden Bridge Town Hall.

While we have a number of exciting events and celebrations coming up that we can’t wait to share with you, the main event is that the (now not so new!) extension of Hebden Bridge Town Hall will reach its 10th Birthday! For this, we will of course be sharing a birthday cake along with hosting free family-friendly events, an exhibition on our story, and much more.

Alongside this, it is also our 125th Birthday too. Confused? Well, as turns out, this year it is also the birthday of the older part of the Town Hall building – the part which is home to the historic Council Chamber neatly wrapped by a beautiful Victorian frontage.

We can’t possibly celebrate two birthdays at once without getting you - the community that has made it all possible, involved.

So, over the next few weeks, we will be sharing stories about the Town Hall to highlight some of the amazing people and events that bring it to life, as well as the partnerships and projects that have helped shape our role in the community. From volunteers, staff, and tenants to the partnerships we’ve developed along the way, it is thanks to our amazing community that Hebden Bridge Town Hall has continued to grow and flourish.

Our 10 / 125  Birthday is therefore a great excuse to celebrate and give our thanks, so look out for our posts and we do hope you’ll join us in the festivities this Summer!
