A new, carefully curated fair: handmade, handcrafted, sustainable sourced and local.

This Saturday 1st and Sunday 2nd June, LOCAL.Community Makers Market comes to Hebden Bridge Town Hall.

Created by Hebden Bridge resident Chiara, this fair shines a light on local businesses and worthy causes.

Featuring makers who specialise in art, cosmetics, homeware, jewellery and much more, from all across the Calder valley, this new fair will bring together a collection of makers that share the same values, ethics and emphasis on quality.

Some of the makers over the weekend include:

@fidgetandwriggle - who will have many products based around physical and emotional well-being, from Cherry Stone heat packs to aromatherapy eye masks, all in lovely bright fabrics.
@hopingsew - who creates handmade, heirloom quality quilts from baby to bed size and handmade earrings, pendants and brooches from the beautiful Yorkshire-made tweed!
@driftersgrove - who will have natural skincare, candles and self-care products. unique colourful aura candles, intention candles and other pieces too.
@alihaley - who creates minimalist pieces to those with a political, humorous or irreverent take using sterling silver.
@herbytod - who creates colourful wet-felted landscapes and painted eggs from Incredible Farm. All her work is mounted and framed.
@jacooltd - who makes natural cosmetics, perfume and home scents. Sourced with the very best ingredients that are organic and sustainable. They will be joining us Saturday 1st & Sunday 2nd.
@artbyjoules -who is a local pen and ink artist, inspired mainly by nature and produces bespoke pieces of art with a quirky twist.
@bottleandbloom23 - who designs and makes herbariums, lamps and other dried flower creations using upcycled bottles.
@amymellisdesign - who will be joining us with her beautiful and colourful hand-printed quilts, garments and prints.
@missdottdesign - who will be joining us both Saturday and Sunday with her beautiful, colourful polymer clay jewellery.
@hebdenbridgeflowers - who will be joining us on Sunday with lovely fresh flowers sustainably grown in the Calder Valley.
@marcuskeen - who will be joining us with his handmade moulded pieces, alongside @mkanismmgnnn who will have some of his Art pieces into prints.
@katieb_pottery - will be there too with her beautiful ceramic pieces made from local materials.
@among.the.trees.uk - who will be joining us on Saturday. His work is Sustainable construction and design. Cabins, garden studios and timber frame buildings.
@kurlykath - who will be with us on Sunday. She makes quirky textiles inspired by nature and made into bags, brooches and cushions.
@dwelcamperco will be with us all weekend, displaying some of his wonderful work.
@ageddescreates is a local Artist selling prints, originals and commissions.
@kittydogdesigns designs and makes Handmade and bespoke dog wear in high-quality weatherproof fabric! They will be joining us on Saturday!
@sensa creates woollen weavings with natural materials, leaves, feathers, hand-painted drums, herbal teas, natural incense blends, and photography.
