Light Up the Valley’s Christmas lights switch on event will run from 3pm - 8pm, with festive fun in the Town Centre, St George’s Square and the Town Hall including a live ice carving from Sand in your Eye

On Thursday 24th November Light up the Valley will return with a free event across Hebden Bridge, featuring:

  • A festive market in the square, and late night shopping throughout the town until 8pm

  • A live ice sculpture carving throughout the day, with a chance to see Santa at the Town Hall

  • Live entertainment from Fat Cat Brass (who will also be playing at the Town Hall), Drum Machine, the Winter Sprites, Glow-Calvos, Hebden Bridge Junior Band, school choirs and more!

  • Stiltwalkers and the Handmade Parade Dragon

  • Festive food and drink

The lights are due to be switched on at around 5.45pm, and afterwards the band will lead everyone back to the Town Hall for mulled wine and mince pies, and a chance to see Santa on his sleigh in the courtyard!
