A big thank you!

On Saturday 25th June we celebrated the 10th birthday of the new building, along with the 125th birthday of the old building. It was a great day with lots to see and do, and we want to thank everyone who came along to celebrate with us and entertain us!

A big thank you goes out to everyone who helped with the activities, including Jeffrey Andrews teaching us how to make a fabulous photocollage, CI adventures for challenging us with circus skills, Linda for her facepainting skills, Dave Nelson for grooving with his jazz piano, Ramya from Annapurna for her music and dancing, Chicks on Sticks for stiltwalking in beautiful dresses, Jo Standerline / Lizzie Battenburg from North of Watford for making us laugh, and of course Marguerite Eccles from A Chance to Dance for getting us up and grooving all day long!

Also, thanks to our Café team for baking all the delicious birthday cakes, Ebony and Anita for talking to people about our heritage project, as well as all of our staff involved in organising the event and being there on the day to ensure everything went smoothly!

Most of all - thank you to everyone who came along to help us celebrate, there was a lovely atmosphere and

This isn’t the end of our birthday celebrations, as we will be continuing to publish blog posts celebrating our 10th birthday, and in August we will have a special exhibition in the Town Hall reflecting the 125 years since the building was opened.

Thanks for a great day, and we hope you’ll join us in looking forward to the next 10 years!
