December to January Exhibition - Hannah Kerwin: Landscapes
Tuesday 23rd November onwards
Oil paintings and sketches of the woodlands and moors above Hebden Bridge, Wainstalls, around the Calder Valley and Bronte Country
Hannah Kerwin is a local artist, and her exhibitions showcases her love of the Yorkshire countryside.
She says: “Living in the Calder Valley gives me the chance to paint some of the most beautiful and varied landscapes.
“I try to capture the fleeting, timeless glimpses of the changing light as it falls on woodland and moors.”
“My (varied) work life has included commercial architectural artwork, visualising, painting pub signs, murals, art classes, clay sculpting, and mould making”
Her work depicts familiar locations, with a dreamy, folkloric feel. She expertly captures the changing light and weather conditions of the moors, and those who've explored the locations depicted will find her paintings familar and evocative!
Hannah’s artwork is for sale as both original paintings and Giclée prints - if you are interested in purchasing, please ask at reception.
