Heritage Open Days - Free Council Chamber Tour

Every September thousands of volunteers across England organise events to celebrate our fantastic history and culture. It's your chance to see hidden places and try out new experiences – all of which are FREE to explore.

A hidden gem in the heart of Hebden Bridge, the Town Hall's stunning Grade II Listed Council Chamber is a fine example of Victorian civic architecture.

Hosting weddings, civil partnerships, Parish and Council meetings, the Chamber is still active today - and as such is usually by appointment only, making this a great opportunity to welcome new and returning visitors to share in its unique history.

Hebden Bridge Town Hall also hosts changing exhibitions, the Town Hall Café and Hebden Bridge Print Fair (taking place on 11th September only).
