Let’s Dance - The Waterfront Hall

Thursday 8th June
10am - 12pm
Free Entry

As part of the Healthy Minds Wellbeing Trail, the Town Hall invites you to dance! Music and movement for everyone - no skills needed!

Led by community dance facilitator Marguerite, Let’s Dance is a free and open dance event in the Waterfront Hall. This is a drop-in session and an opportunity to move to many different types of music, meet friends and have a good time in a safe and relaxed environment. This session is open to everybody, regardless of age, gender or ability, and our building is fully accessible.

Healthy Minds have joined forces with the incredible groups and organisations around Hebden Bridge, Todmorden and Halifax to deliver a week-long programme of activities to support our mental health and wellbeing!

The Wellbeing Trail takes place from the 6th to the 12th of June at venues across Upper Calder Valley. Everything on the trail is completely free to attend, providing an opportunity for all to take time, relieve some stress and try something new. Whether you’d like to try out an exercise class, socialise, spend gentle time in nature or explore a holistic therapy there’s so many amazing activities to choose from to help you look after your wellbeing.

To find out more about the Wellbeing Trail or to book onto any of our activities please see the Healthy Minds website for more details.

If you enjoyed this session, you may like to come along to Marguerite’s other community dance session A Chance to Dance at various locations around the Upper Valley, including the Town Hall.
