Meet with our expert panel including a GP, a Specialist Physio and a fitness expert who will be on hand to explain the menopause in-depth, give advice and answer your questions.
What is happening to my body....and mind?
What can I do to help with the symptoms?
What about HRT? Testosterone? Or other medicines and therapies?
What is happening to your musculoskeletal system?
Are some exercises better than others? What's safe?
Can nutrition, diet and supplements help my journey through the menopause?

If you have been asking yourself these questions, then this workshop is for you!
We want to help individuals to better understand the issues women face at this key life stage and look at the part that exercise can play when peri, menopausal and post-menopausal. The session will finish with 40-minutes of gentle yoga-based movement that can help with menopausal symptoms, led by Claire Thomas from Padma Yoga.
There is a £10 charge but we don't want money to be a barrier to coming as we know how hard it is for some people at the moment. There are funded/free places available for those that need it. The NPBA Wellbeing Workshops aim to support women to stay active through addressing common issues which may reduce participation or stop women from exercising.
The workshops aim to help our community become informed, get purposeful and find solutions in a supportive environment.
We believe that women are their own health heroines and the ultimate advocates for their health.
