Wendy Waterhouse is a HCPC registered podiatrist, providing chiropody/ podiatry appointments to the local community.
I am fortunate to be open during the pandemic, and am following all my society's guidelines to keep everyone safe, including: the podiatrist wearing full PPE: allowing extra time between appointments for thorough cleaning and to avoid patients meeting each other: and screening patients before entry to the building.
I provide treatments for:
Toe nail cutting, reduction of hard skin (callus) and corns
Fungal nails – Testing and Treatment
Ingrowing Toe nails
Pain to the foot and ankle (Biomechanical Assessment - including prescribing insoles)
Diabetic Foot checks
Verrucae treatments including cryotherapy
Foot care products including: moisturisers, fungal nail treatments, athletes foot creams, and a wide selection of gentle grip socks
