Hebden Bridge Film Festival Programme Launch - The Café

Friday 10th March
from 6:00pm

Join us for the launch of the full Hebden Bridge Film Festival programme, this Friday from 6pm in the Town Hall café bar.

Everyone is welcome to join the festival organisers for a drink (nibbles provided) and to find out more about this year's amazing festival line-up, watch the festival trailer, and pick up a copy of the printed programme.

The festival is taking place from Friday 24th to Sundaty 26th March at Hebden Bridge Picture House and Hebden Bridge Town Hall, and the theme of this year’s festival is Hope and Resistance.

Organiser Louise Wadley says: “With over 500 years of non-conformism in the valley it seems fitting that the Hebden Bridge Film Festival theme is Hope and Resistance. We will be celebrating films by or about those who exist in the margins, sit outside the mainstream, or just plain don’t fit in.

”HBFF will bring you a dazzling programme of World cinema, UK and US Independent Film, as well as supporting and fostering new talent. It will be a packed weekend of exciting new films that will engage, challenge and delight you.”

“We are proud to be partnering with the beautifully restored, state-of-the-art Hebden Bridge Picture House cinema and with Hebden Bridge Town Hall as our Film Festival Hub where Filmmakers and Filmlovers can come together and experience the wonderful community spirit that our beautiful town is so famous for. We can't wait for you to join us.”
