A new community book group, where self-care becomes share-care.

Making changes on your own often means that self-help books go unfinished - The Resilience Café Book Club aims to change this with a new community reading group. Meeting on Tuesday evenings at the Town Hall, the book club will run from 6.30pm until 9:00pm, reading self-help and personal development books together in company.

Supported by remedial massage and craniosacral therapist Kay Reynolds, the group meets every two weeks, and the books chosen for the group will cover aspects of stress, anxiety and depression, trauma and habit-changing, as well as providing a safe and welcoming space to explore the topics presented.

The group will also explore aspects of self-knowledge, understand the impact that stress can have on our bodies and minds, and look at strategies for positive actions and progress.
